Hola chicos/as y sobretodo a aquellos enamorados de los Commodore AMIGA que utilizamos allá en la época de los 90, ¿qué tiempos eh?, cuando los PC’s tan solo eran estufas que hacían ruido, es decir máquinas que proporcionaban calor y ruido y poco más.
Hace poco nos encontramos por casualidad buscando técnicas de posicionamiento en Blogs en EEUU con noticias sobre Commodore AMIGA, que nos han hecho reflexionar sobre el tema y nos han hecho preparar esta noticia para aclarar un poco el tema y aportar luz a la noticia.
Hemos encontrado de todo, desde videos que nos demuestran la existencia real de Amiga OS 4.1 hasta comparaciones de dicho sistema operativo con el MacOS X.

Utilizando bases sólidas para AmigaOS 4.0, Amiga OS 4.1 trae muchas características nuevas que allana el camino para el despliegue de aplicaciones industriales en la plataforma Amiga.
En las aplicaciones clave, como pueden los navegadores modernos, software de productividad o los gerentes de las imágenes, es mejor usar más memoria RAM, con la consecuencia de la rápida ejecución de RAM.
Amiga OS 4.1 ofrece la memoria del sistema inteligente de ampliar con el disco duro como memoria de retransmisión, sólo cuando lo necesite.
El software de gestión multimedia (fotos, videos, música) y los juegos 3D han empezado una revolución en el almacenamiento de datos, obligando a la difícil llegar a la barrera del terabyte.
Amiga OS 4.1 introduce un nuevo sistema de archivos, JXFS, disponible más rápida y segura en la plataforma Amiga, el apoyo a los discos y particiones de varios terabytes.

11 de julio de Hyperion Entertainment se complace en anunciar Amiga OS 4.1 está ahora en la prueba final, su salida está prevista fué para mediados del tercer trimestre de 2008.

Steve Solie, que dirige a los desarrolladores de AmigaOS, explica lo que el futuro contendrá la actualización 3ª.
Esta información se publica en el blog de Hyperion, Steven Solie también hablan de un posible 4ª, y la actualización del AmigaOS a la versión 4.2.
La “AmigaOS 4.1 Update 3 está actualmente en construcción y estará disponible gratuitamente para todos los clientes registrados de Hyperion. Si usted no ha registrado su licencia de AmigaOS 4.1, visite el sitio de Hyperion y podrá actualizarse hoy mismo.
En la actualidad, la lista de plataformas soportadas por AmigaOS incluye: AmigaOne-XE, MicroA1 C, Pegasos II, Amiga3000/4000 CyberstormPPC +, + BlizzardPPC Amiga1200 y Sam460ex Sam440ep.
Esta actualización también debería funcionar en algunas placas de desarrollo como el Amiga y MicroA1-SE-C Mark 2, pero no se ha probado todavía.
El Update 3 se enfoca hacia la mejora de la estabilidad del sistema y corregir errores. Las características completamente nuevas, tales como la aceleración de hardware a través de OpenGL se incluirán en la versión 4.2 de AmigaOS, prevista en conjunción con el lanzamiento de la X1000 AmigaOne.
Todas las plataformas se actualizará en términos de arreglos y mejoras. Creo que todos podrán disfrutar de la MUI actualizada, que simplificará en gran medida importar o traer aplicaciones MUI.
El usuario puede ver una mejora significativa en el rendimiento mediante una mayor utilización de su hardware. Además, la mayoría de los problemas de USB han sido resueltos.
Desde el lanzamiento de AmigaOS 4.1 Classic, nuestros probadores han visto el equipo de desarrollo en la identificación de los problemas que tomará tiempo resolver. Es el momento de decidir si se rechaza incluso el lanzamiento de la actualización de 3, o si se rechaza la corrección del problema a una actualización de la hipotética 4.

En cuanto a videos en youtube podemos encontrar de todo desde nuevos modelos hasta funcionamientos de AmigaOS 4.1 con una visión un tanto antigua para la época en la que vivimos, cosa que nos hace pensar que puede ser un fake bien montado, pero… ¿para que?.
